PuzzleWonder Privacy Policy
Effective: October 22, 2026. This policy describes the mixed-audience PuzzleWonder: Clever Adventures build with AdMob and the prepared optional purchase features. Earlier offline-only builds did not include advertising or billing SDKs.
PuzzleWonder is a puzzle game for children, teens, adults and families. All puzzles, hints and local progress work without an online account. Advertising and store features need internet access. Google Play Games is not enabled in the current build.
Local profiles and progress
The game stores local profile names or nicknames, animal avatars, completed lessons, practice records, badges, daily quests, difficulty and comfort settings on the device. A locally selected age range is used only to control optional online eligibility; no date of birth is collected. Local profile names, avatars, lesson answers and practice records are not supplied by our game code to the ad or purchase SDKs.
Settings > Reset explorer progress clears the active profile's stars, records, badges and daily quests. It retains names, settings, the device-wide ad count and any verified Remove Ads entitlement. Uninstalling removes local app data. Android backups, if enabled by the device owner, are controlled by Android and Google.
Advertising
The game integrates Google AdMob. The same schedule applies to all ages: an ad can become eligible one minute after the day's first launch, then at least five minutes after the previous ad closes, with no more than eight confirmed impressions per local day across all profiles on the device. Ads wait for a safe island-screen break; they do not interrupt an active puzzle, onboarding or another dialog. A failed ad load does not block play. Development builds use Google's test ads.
For everyone, ad requests are configured as child-directed, under the age of consent, non-personalized, and with maximum ad content rating G. The app removes the Android advertising-ID permission and delays app measurement initialization. The app does not include ad mediation networks. Applicable privacy checks run before loading ads; if those checks fail, the app skips ads and play continues.
AdMob can process technical data such as IP address (which can indicate approximate location), device/app identifiers other than the removed Android advertising ID, ad interactions and diagnostic information for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. These are third-party SDK data flows; the app is no longer a zero-network or zero-data-sharing app. Google describes its SDK data handling in Google Play data disclosure and Google Privacy Policy. We do not receive a child's local profile or puzzle history through an account service.
Where Google's privacy options are required and available, a grown-up can open Settings > Remove Ads / restore > Ad privacy choices. Child-directed treatment and non-personalized requests remain enabled for all ages.
Remove Ads purchase
Remove Ads is a planned one-time non-consumable purchase, with a US base price of US$1.35. Google Play provides the final localized price and handles payment. It is not a subscription, and it does not unlock puzzles, hints, scores or achievements. Purchase controls are in the grown-up area and include a separate confirmation before Google Play payment.
Purchases remain unavailable until the store product and public receipt-verification key are configured. When enabled, Unity In-App Purchasing connects to Google Play, fetches product and ownership information, and validates the signed purchase receipt for this app and product. The app does not receive card details. A verified entitlement is stored locally to keep ads removed offline; Restore purchases queries the same Play Store account on a new installation. Pending or unverified payments do not grant ownership. Restoring does not move a purchase to another Google account. Google Play and Unity may process transaction and technical data needed to provide and maintain their purchase services.
Optional Google Play Games
Google Play Games is not active in this build. Preparation for a future mixed-audience release offers an explicit, optional connection for eligible adults only. Puzzles and local achievements never require sign-in. A Google-enabled release would share unlocked achievement IDs and completed-lesson totals with Google for the selected profile. Local names, avatars, exact age and lesson answers would not be uploaded by the integration. Before enabling that SDK, we will validate its age-gated initialization, update the Play Data safety declarations and revise this policy to match the enabled service. Disconnecting local sharing would not delete Google's retained account data.
Voice and device permissions
Read-aloud uses the text-to-speech engine installed on the device. The app does not record audio or request camera, microphone, contacts, precise location or shared-storage access. Ads and billing introduce internet and service-related permissions; the final Android manifest must be reviewed with each release.
Children's experience
Puzzles are untimed and offer gentle feedback, unlimited hints, undo where supported, and reduced motion. Online ranking eligibility is separate from the advertising schedule. All ages receive the same child-directed ad treatment. No chat or user-generated social content is provided by the app.
